A Neoclassical church on Piazza Cavour consecrated in 1819, built with offerings collected at the funeral of the doctor Bruno Amantea.

On Piazza Cavour, between San Lorenzo and Stella, stands a church born from an act of collective gratitude. It was designed by Bartolomeo Grasso in Neoclassical style and consecrated in 1819 thanks to the offerings collected at the funeral of Bruno Amantea, a doctor much loved by the people.Enlarged in 1964 with a new apse and two chapels, it also preserves works older than the building itself, such as a pair of medieval angels.
