A deconsecrated church in the Lavinaio district, founded in 1587 near the garden of the Count of Maddaloni and remodelled in 1738.

On Via Salaiolo, in the Lavinaio district, stands this now deconsecrated church. It was founded in 1587 by local residents near the garden of Diomede Carafa, Count of Maddaloni: hence the name «all'Orto del Conte», at the Count's garden.Remodelled in 1738 by the engineer Pietro Lucchesi, it housed two congregations. It is one of many small neighbourhood churches that tell of the life of ordinary Neapolitans between the Mercato and the Pendino.
