A church from 1575 near the Capodimonte woods, founded for local farmers and grown with the building of the Royal Palace.

On Via Bosco di Capodimonte, the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie was founded in 1575 by the Marquis Innocenzo Mazza for the few farmers of the area, next to a shrine dedicated to the Madonna; in 1598 it became a parish. With the building of the Royal Palace of Capodimonte and the nearby noble palazzi, the congregation grew considerably in the 18th century. Restored after the 1980 earthquake, it has a single nave with a barrel vault and stucco work: a quiet stop before or after visiting the museum.
