A church in Chiaia from 1571, built near the Torretta, the old tower against the Saracens; its vaults and dome are covered in frescoes.

At the end of the Riviera di Chiaia, in the Torretta area, stands Santa Maria della Neve in San Giuseppe. It was built in 1571 next to the old defensive tower against the Saracens that gave the district its name.The interior has a single nave with a barrel vault: the lunettes and dome are entirely covered in frescoes in the style of Belisario Corenzio. The canvases by Pietro Bardellino, Lorenzo De Caro and the workshop of Ribera have recently been restored and put back in place.
