A church on Via San Sebastiano founded in the 16th century to ransom Christian prisoners, with a 1706 façade by Ferdinando Sanfelice.

On Via San Sebastiano, a few steps from the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory, stands this church, founded in the second half of the 16th century for an association that from 1548 raised funds to ransom Christians taken prisoner in the wars of the Mediterranean. In 1706 Ferdinando Sanfelice completely redesigned the façade. Today it is also dedicated to Saint Alphonsus Maria de' Liguori, the Neapolitan saint who wrote the carol «Tu scendi dalle stelle».
