Arenella church opened in 1607, near the supposed birthplace of Salvator Rosa; 18th-century façade and stucco.

In the Arenella, the church of Santa Maria del Soccorso was opened in 1607. Tradition places the birthplace of the painter Salvator Rosa nearby.Restorations in the 18th century and the 1960s erased the original building: the façade, the vestibule and the stucco are 18th-century. Inside, the most important work is the fresco of Saint Monica and Saint Augustine on the inner façade; in the chapels let's also look for Salvatore Mollo's Tobias and the Angel.
