Church of Sant'Antonio in Apice
- Visit: about 30 min

Church of the Franciscan convent of Sant'Antonio, founded in 1530 just outside Apice, with a wooden altar from 1694.
A short distance from the centre of Apice stands the convent of Sant'Antonio, founded in 1530 by Father Ludovico da Fossombrone, as a plaque set into the church wall records. The convent church has an architecture worth noticing and has always been a place of deeply felt devotion. We are struck by the wooden high altar, made in 1694 by Bernardino da Massa, framing a canvas of St Francis receiving the stigmata. On the right of the nave is the altar of St Anthony, with an image of the saint of Padua shown with the lily and the book.
