Complex of 1580 founded by four noble Augustinian sisters, now a university Medicine building in the historic centre.

On the small square of the same name, near the Anticaglia, the complex of Sant'Andrea delle Dame was founded by four sisters, daughters of the notary Andrea Palescandolo, who took their vows in 1580 and established an Augustinian convent. The design was by their brother, the Theatine Marco Palescandolo. Today the complex houses the university's Medicine faculty: Baroque cloisters and rooms welcome students every day.
