Medieval church in Forcella dedicated to Saint Agrippinus, with a Gothic apse and Baroque decoration of 1758.

In the heart of Forcella, on the street of the same name, is the church of Sant'Agrippino, dedicated to one of the first bishops and patrons of Naples. The present layout is medieval, from the 13th century, although some sources date its origins to the 5th century. The single-nave interior preserves fine Gothic details, especially around the apse, while the rest was transformed in 1758 by Nicola Tagliacozzi Canale with stucco and a raised floor. A chance to discover the history of a district often talked about for other reasons.
