San Michele a Port'Alba, on piazza Dante: a masterpiece by Domenico Antonio Vaccaro, with a Rococo façade; reopened in 2010.

On piazza Dante, next to Port'Alba, stands San Michele Arcangelo. Built around 1620, it was remodelled in the first half of the 18th century by Domenico Antonio Vaccaro, who created one of his masterpieces here.We notice the two-storey Rococo façade, with a small balcony in the centre. Inside are Giuseppe Marullo's Saint Michael and two canvases by Vaccaro himself. After a long closure, the church reopened in 2010.
