Small Posillipo church reached by a staircase cut into the rock, dedicated to Saint Aloysius Gonzaga; polychrome tiled floor.

In Posillipo, a staircase cut into the rock, with pieces of ancient marble along its sides, leads us to the church of San Luigi Gonzaga. It is dedicated to the saint who stayed in Naples in 1585 for health reasons.Rebuilt in the second half of the 18th century, its façade echoes that of the Annunziata in miniature. Inside, with a single nave, we notice the old floor of polychrome riggiole (majolica tiles) and the coloured marble altars.
