Church of the Florentine community, demolished in the 1950s in the rione Carità and rebuilt in the Arenella with its furnishings.

The church of San Giovanni Battista dei Fiorentini tells of the long presence of Tuscan merchants in Naples. Their church stood in the rione Carità, in a building founded in the 15th century by Queen Isabella of Chiaromonte, but in the 1950s it was demolished for the redevelopment of the district. It was then rebuilt in the Arenella, where the furnishings and works of the original church were moved. Today it is a parish of the Vomero-Arenella and preserves the memory of a community that enlivened the city for centuries.
