The old parish church of the San Giovanni a Teduccio hamlet, rebuilt in the late 19th century by Giuseppe Pisanti in Neo-Renaissance style.

The parish of San Giovanni Battista, also called the parish of the Most Holy Rosary, was the heart of the old hamlet of San Giovanni a Teduccio. After the previous building collapsed, it was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century under the direction of the architect Giuseppe Pisanti. He designed the lively Neo-Renaissance façade, and the interior too was decorated following the fashion for historical revivals. We recommend looking at the 1931 wall paintings by Gustavo Girosi and at the high altar, which instead shows an elegant Rococo taste.
