16th-century mother church of the hamlet of Ostigliano in Perito, in a commanding position on the hill.

The mother church of San Giovanni Battista is at Ostigliano, a hamlet of Perito, at the top of the hill, with the village gathered beneath it. It dates from the mid-16th century: pastoral visitations already describe it in 1583 and 1646.At that time it had three altars: the high altar, that of the Rosary and that of St Catherine. We suggest climbing up for the view over the Cilento hills.
