Small church on via San Giovanni Maggiore Pignatelli with a rare Gothic structure of two superimposed spaces and a crypt.

On via San Giovanni Maggiore Pignatelli, in the historic centre, there is a small church with a long history: born in the Angevin era and seat of a congregation dedicated to Saint Bonaventure, it was embellished several times and restored in 1778.Its special feature is its Gothic structure with two superimposed spaces, rare in Naples, with a crypt in the lower one. The 18th-century façade incorporates a late Gothic piperno doorway; on the high altar is a canvas by Fabrizio Santafede. Today the church houses a cultural association.
