Pendino church born in the 16th century as the chapel of the taffeta merchants, rebuilt in 1615 with a Baroque façade.

On the street of the same name, in the Pendino district, the church of San Biagio ai Taffettanari began in the 16th century as the chapel of the merchants of taffeta, the silk fabric sold in this area.It was rebuilt and enlarged in 1615 and later given a Baroque façade; the last restoration dates from 1960. The Latin-cross interior with chapels preserves two 18th-century canvases by Luigi Pullo on either side of the altar.
