Plain single-nave 18th-century church in Bucciano, with a canvas of Our Lady of the Rosary between St Catherine and St Dominic.
Overlooking Piazza Casinuovo, this church was built at the beginning of the 18th century at the wish of a local family. The plan is essential: a single nave covered by tuff barrel vaults, with two arches along the outer walls marking the space.Its treasure is behind the central altar: a canvas of Our Lady of the Rosary between St Catherine and St Dominic, painted by a local artist. We recommend a short stop if you pass through Bucciano, perhaps before heading up towards Taburno.
