An 18th-century confraternity church in the Chiaiano hamlet, founded in 1743, with an interior decorated in fine stucco and a Madonna of the Rosary canvas.

In 1743, beside the parish church of San Giovanni Battista in the old hamlet of Chiaiano, the confraternity of the Rosary was founded. Its small building is instantly recognisable by the large window with a mixtilinear frame opening above the entrance, an elegant detail typical of 18th-century Naples. We especially like the interior, covered in refined 18th-century stucco that creates an intimate, bright space. On the altar is a canvas of the Madonna of the Rosary, to whom the confraternity is dedicated. We recommend visiting it together with the nearby parish church, to discover the most authentic face of the old hamlet.
