A confraternity church beside Santi Cosma e Damiano in Secondigliano, with 18th-century canvases on the life of Mary.

In Secondigliano, to the left of the church of Santi Cosma e Damiano, the district's main parish, we find this small confraternity church dedicated to the Assumption. It is one of those intimate places we like to discover while strolling through the historic heart of the districts north of Naples.Inside, the walls are adorned with canvases from 1738 by Francesco De Angelis depicting the life of Mary. We recommend pausing at the 18th-century high altar, topped by an early 17th-century painting in Mannerist taste.
