The chapel of the Monte di Pietà is a little treasure chest of gilded stucco. The vault was frescoed by the Greek-born painter Belisario Corenzio; behind the high altar is the Deposition by Fabrizio Santafede, with other canvases by Ippolito Borghese and by Santafede himself.We recommend not missing the antesacristy, with Cardinal Acquaviva's tomb by Cosimo Fanzago, and the 18th-century Sala Cantoniere, with its majolica floor and portraits of Charles III and Maria Amalia.
