The great Rationalist building on piazza Matteotti, built between 1933 and 1936, a symbol of 20th-century architecture in Naples.

On piazza Matteotti, the Palazzo delle Poste is one of the symbols of Rationalist architecture in Italy. It was built between 1933 and 1936 in the area of the San Giuseppe-Carità district, demolished for the occasion. The great curved marble-clad façade and the majestic entrance hall are worth a stop, even just to send a postcard. The attic houses an important newspaper library.
