Remains of the castle on the hill of the Castello district of Gragnano, with walls and towers absorbed into the houses.

Gragnano Castle stood on the hill of the Castello district. Today its footprint is entirely occupied by houses, but some ruined stretches of wall remain east of the Church of the Assunta, with a cylindrical corner tower.We like looking for traces of the towers, one semicircular and another recognisable in the round shape of a building north of the church. It is not accessible: we suggest viewing it as you stroll through the village.
