The medieval castle of Lettere, a sentinel between the Lattari Mountains and the Sarno valley.
The castle stands on a height above Lettere and was a border fortress of the Republic of Amalfi facing the plain. It was later enlarged in the Angevin period.After restoration you can visit the walls, the towers and the interior spaces. From the castle the view stretches from Vesuvius to the Bay of Naples.
