In the village of Casapozzano, a hamlet of Orta di Atella, the castle-palace of the Capece-Minutolo family around which the old core grew up.

Casapozzano, the only hamlet of Orta di Atella, preserves a small historic village that grew up around a castle or palace belonging to the noble Capece-Minutolo family. Its phases are dated between the 11th and 18th centuries and the village's urban fabric developed around this very residence.Nearby we find other buildings linked to the same family, such as an old inn later turned into a palazzo and Villa Alicia Higgins, built by the marquis for his Irish-born wife on the model of 18th-century Irish country houses, as well as the early 18th-century Church of San Michele Arcangelo. We recommend a quiet stroll among these buildings.
