Naples' great picture gallery in the Royal Palace of Capodimonte, from Titian to Caravaggio, surrounded by the Real Bosco.

The Royal Palace of Capodimonte was built by Charles of Bourbon to house the Farnese collection, and today it is one of the richest picture galleries in Italy. You move through centuries of painting, from the Renaissance masters to Caravaggio and on to the Neapolitan school of the 17th and 19th centuries.On the first floor you can also visit the royal apartments and the porcelain room. After the museum it is well worth taking a walk in the Real Bosco, one of the largest parks in the city.
