Franciscan church and convent of the Conventual Friars Minor on the Parco hill, with the scenic staircase of Largo Sant'Antonio.

The Sant'Antonio complex arose after the arrival of the Normans on the slopes of the Parco hill, among the convents that dot this part of Nocera Inferiore. It is still in the care of the Conventual Friars Minor and is one of the places dearest to the people of Nocera. The convent houses a picture gallery with works by Andrea Sabatini and Pietro Negroni, painters of the southern Italian 16th century. We suggest arriving from Largo Sant'Antonio: we love climbing the great white staircase leading to the entrance, considered one of the finest views in the city.
