The basilica of Sorrento's patron saint, with its crypt and the sailors' ex-votos.
The basilica is dedicated to Saint Antoninus Abbot, patron saint of Sorrento, whose relics are kept in the crypt. The church has very ancient origins and has been altered several times.In the crypt and along the walls you can see numerous ex-votos, many of them offered by sailors who survived shipwrecks.
