In the hamlet of Castinatelli in Futani, in the Cilento National Park, lie the remains of the Abbey of Santa Cecilia, built in 1022 by the Lombard Guaimar.It was inhabited by Benedictines until the 15th century and was a centre of worship, trade and learning. Today it is an evocative ruin set in the greenery of Cilento.
