The small temple on the Forum of Pompeii with a marble altar showing a sacrifice scene.

The temple stands on the eastern side of the Forum and was linked to the imperial cult. The name is conventional: it is not known for certain which emperor it was dedicated to.In the centre of the courtyard there is a marble altar with a relief of a bull sacrifice, one of the finest pieces of sculpture in the Forum.
