The Odeion of Pompeii, the small covered theatre for concerts and recitals.
The Small Theatre, or Odeion, stands next to the Large Theatre and was covered by a roof. It was used for musical performances, poetry readings and mimes, in front of a small audience.The tiers of seats are well preserved and end with telamon figures carved in tuff. It is visited together with the Large Theatre and the theatre district.
