The castle of Conca della Campania dates back to around the 10th century and has been much altered over time. It retains its square towers, a Renaissance portal, a large entrance hall and a cycle of frescoes that bear witness to its transformation from defensive stronghold to residence.In the chapel we find images of Saints Vincent and Dominic and, on the high altar, a statue of the Madonna della Libera carved in cedar of Lebanon. The castle is among the village's most important monuments together with the Collegiate Church of San Pietro and the sanctuary of Santa Maria della Libera: we recommend visiting them together for a day in the heart of the area.
