In Grazzanise, a Gothic-style church dedicated to the Madonna di Montevergine, with three rose windows and ceramic decoration on the façade.

In Grazzanise, on the Volturno plain, the Church of the Madonna di Montevergine is immediately recognisable by its Gothic-style appearance: pointed arches, tall columns separating the nave from the aisles and a large central rose window. The bell tower was added a few years after the church was built, completing its silhouette. We like pausing at the façade, enlivened by three rose windows, beneath each of which is a ceramic sculpture: in the centre the Virgin, at the sides St Maximiliana and St John. We recommend coming for the feast of the Madonna di Montevergine, celebrated on 8 September, when the community gathers around its church.
