A small church on the outskirts of Bonea, brought to life in February by the feast of Saint Blaise with the traditional blessing of throats.

On the outskirts of Bonea stands the church of San Biagio, one of the village's best-loved places of worship. It is a simple building, linked above all to popular devotion to the holy bishop, protector of the throat, who is celebrated here every year in February.During the feast an old custom is renewed: the blessing of throats, which in Bonea is done with blessed local olive oil. We like this interweaving of faith and the produce of the land. We suggest combining the visit with the parish church of San Nicola di Bari and the other churches in the centre.
