A rock-cut chapel in Gete, Tramonti, in a cave used as a pagan necropolis in the 2nd century.

In the hamlet of Gete in Tramonti, the Chapel of Sant'Angelo, known as the rock chapel, is built in a cave that in the 2nd century was a pagan necropolis: cinerary urns and frescoes have been found there. From the 5th century the area saw hermit settlements spring up, from which the chapel was born. An evocative place to reach on foot.
