Small museum in the old village of Casal Velino recreating the rooms and furnishings of a traditional Cilento farmhouse.
In the old village of Casal Velino, the main town perched on the hill, the Casa Contadina Museum ("Farmhouse Museum") takes us back in time. It is set up in an old rural dwelling and recreates the typical spaces of Cilento peasant life, with rooms, furniture and everyday objects.We suggest visiting to understand what life in the countryside was like before beach tourism, looking closely at the work tools and furnishings of the past. We like rounding off a stroll through the historic centre with a stop on the town's panoramic terrace, overlooking the Gulf of Velia.
