Virtual Ecomuseum of Monteforte Cilento

In the centre of Monteforte Cilento we find the Virtual Ecomuseum, which also serves as a visitor centre: an information and welcome point for walkers, combined with multimedia installations designed to entertain and introduce the area. We like the immersive, interactive room, which takes you on an emotional journey through the environment and culture of Monteforte and the Cilento.In another installation you meet the historical figure of Domenico Capozzoli, who answers visitors' questions about local places, customs and traditions. The museum is also designed for people with disabilities and the visually impaired, who can explore the places through sensory routes based on sound and smell.
