Sanctuary documented since the early 18th century, much loved by the faithful, with a bell tower over 15 metres high and three bells.

The sanctuary of San Rocco is one of the most heartfelt places of devotion in Sassano. The chapel first appears in a pastoral visit of 1713, but a register in the parish archive already records, in 1704, expenses for the saint's feast, for building materials and for retouching the painting.Ever since, the sanctuary has always drawn many worshippers. We recommend looking at the regular bell tower, over fifteen metres high: at the top hangs the original bell from the old tower, while lower down we find others, including the oldest, from 1903.
