The excavations of Oplontis are at Torre Annunziata and form part of the UNESCO site of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Torre Annunziata.The most famous complex is the villa attributed to Poppaea, wife of Nero, with extraordinary frescoes. Not far away is the Villa of Lucius Crassius Tertius, linked to the wine trade.
