Natural history museum with a rich zoological collection and interactive stations on the Roccamonfina-Foce Garigliano Park.

Opened in 2009 in the hamlet of San Clemente, inside Palazzo Seccareccia, the museum is unique of its kind in the province of Caserta. It holds a rich zoological collection telling the story of the biodiversity of the planet's ecosystems, with mounted animals displayed in cases. We like the multimedia showcases where, with headphones, you can listen to the animals' calls. The first floor also holds medium and large specimens, while on the second floor stations illustrate the geology and nature of the Roccamonfina-Foce Garigliano Regional Park. We recommend visiting with children, perhaps booking ahead, as the museum opens by request.
