Irpinia's first museum of work, in the 18th-century palace of the Amatucci barons, with old tools and miniatures of traditional trades.
In the 18th-century palace of the Amatucci barons, which also holds the family archive, is Irpinia's first museum of work. Born from a donation and later enriched by other gifts and purchases by the town, it collects old tools and work implements.We enjoy the miniatures of the trades, from stonecutter to printer, from barber to blacksmith, and the reconstructions of scenes of life, such as the pig slaughter or life-size displays of old shops. Linked to the museum there is also an old copper workshop. We recommend booking, as visits are by request.
