Museum of the Farmhouse in Orria

The Museum of the Farmhouse tells the farming soul of Orria through tools and handcrafted objects spontaneously donated by local people when the museum was created. The exhibition documents work in the fields and the processing of Cilento's produce.The star is the white fig, once called the bread of the poor: its whole cycle is illustrated, from cultivation to drying and its use in cooking, including recipes with porchetta, potatoes and ham. We also really like the outdoor trail, which shows the botanical and landscape features of the countryside. Visits are by request: we recommend arranging them in advance.
