A museum devoted to endangered species, with corals, turtles, ivory and other items seized from illegal trade.

The CITES and Biodiversity Museum is an unusual institution in Campania and in Italy, with strong scientific and educational value. It takes its name from the international convention on trade in endangered species and helps us understand how fragile nature's wealth is and how important it is to protect it.In its rooms are tropical corals, land and sea turtles, carved elephant tusks, crocodile-skin objects, Australian shells and stuffed birds: many of these items come from the illegal trade in animals at risk of extinction. We especially recommend a visit with young people, as a lesson in respect for the environment.
