Church in Casandrino born, according to tradition, from the discovery of a statue in the fields, built between the 17th and 19th centuries.
According to tradition, the church was born after a statue was found underground: the oxen carrying it stopped and would not move again, and this was read as the place chosen for the church. The works lasted from the 17th to the 19th century.The interior is a Latin cross with eight Baroque chapels and marble altars, and two niches with statues of St Peter and St Paul. It was restored after the earthquakes of 1930 and 1980.
