The parish church of Marzano di Nola in Campanian Baroque style, with an octagonal bell tower and 18th-century canvases.

Overlooking Piazza Marconi, the church of San Trifone Martire is the religious heart of Marzano di Nola. The building recalls 18th-century Campanian Baroque and began as a simple chapel, later enlarged. It has a gabled façade and an octagonal belfry crowned by a small dome, which gives the square's skyline an unmistakable touch.Inside, we like to linger over the four Evangelists painted in the pendentives of the dome and the large canvas of Saint Tryphon on the ceiling, an 18th-century work repainted in the 1930s. There are also 18th-century statues of the Immaculate Conception, Saint Joseph and the Ecce Homo. We suggest visiting on 10 November, when the statue of the patron saint is carried through the village in procession.
