Thirty-metre 11th-century bell tower, symbol of the town, with an octagonal belfry, a pointed dome and a vaulted passage at its base.

The bell tower is the symbol of Torre Orsaia and dominates the square from its height of thirty metres. It dates from the 11th century and rises in three square-based sections up to an octagonal belfry with eight arches, topped by a pointed dome with an iron cross and weathervane. We like the fact that you can walk through the tower, along its barrel-vaulted passage. We recommend looking up to spot the coats of arms of the bishops who ruled over Torre Orsaia and that of the bishop's palace, which has sadly been completely destroyed.
