Perched on a tuff spur between two streams, Sant'Agata de' Goti is one of the most photographed villages in Sannio. On the weekends before Christmas its old town lights up for the third edition of Sotto una buona stella («Under a lucky star»).
The programme combines festive lights and decorations, cultural events, guided tours of the old town and street artists. The aim is to bring the village to life and support its small shops. It is promoted by the Circolo Culturale Saticula, with the support of the town council.
Don't miss the view of the village from the bridge over the Martorano at sunset, and make the most of the guided tours to discover its churches and palazzi.
