On 17 December at 7 pm the Teatro di San Carlo celebrates a long friendship: Plácido Domingo marks 55 years of performing on the Naples stage with an opera gala alongside soprano Sonya Yoncheva, one of the most sought-after voices in the world's great opera houses.
Leonardo Sini conducts the San Carlo Orchestra. The programme alternates arias and duets from the operatic repertoire, in an evening for lovers of bel canto who want to experience a special occasion in Europe's oldest working opera house.
