On 17 December at 8.30 pm the Teatro Acacia in the Vomero district hosts one of the most festive dates of the Associazione Scarlatti season: Paolo Fresu presents Christmas Songs with Leila Shirvani and Daniele Di Bonaventura.

The Sardinian musician's trumpet and flugelhorn and Di Bonaventura's bandoneon engage with holiday melodies, from traditional carols to classical pieces, reimagined with a jazz sensibility. It is a warm, intimate concert, enjoyable even for those who rarely listen to jazz.

We suggest riding one of the funiculars up to the Vomero and taking a stroll between Via Scarlatti and Castel Sant'Elmo beforehand, for a breathtaking view over the illuminated bay.
