On the plateau of the Lattari Mountains, above the Amalfi Coast, the hamlet of Campora hosts one of Campania's longest-running living nativities, inspired by 18th-century Naples. Around 300 costumed characters lead visitors from scene to scene: the Annunciation, the journey to Bethlehem, the Nativity, the shepherds and the Magi.

The route winds through a beautiful natural setting and includes a short tasting trail of local products, from fior di latte cheese to pasta e patate with Provolone del Monaco. It is organised by the parish of San Martino Vescovo and the Pro Loco.

The 2026/27 dates have not been announced yet: the evenings usually fall between 26 December and the first days of January. Check for updates before you go.
