A day in the Vallo di Diano and the Alburni area. In the morning we enter the Pertosa-Auletta Caves, the only ones in Italy where you sail along an underground river, among stalactites and chambers carved out by water.
In the afternoon we move on to Padula to visit the Certosa di San Lorenzo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its great cloister and the monks’ cells. A perfect itinerary for anyone looking for the lesser-known Cilento.
